my fight against inertia

there is nothing more humbling than spending one's leisure time on the internet, hunting down former flames, friends, or in my case random school acquaintances that bore no impact in my life past, only to find that they seem to be having way more fun life experiences than you (a.k.a. me). this evening i'd foolishly decided to forego my usual lazy boob-tube viewing for even lazier internet-surfing. i've since come across a former friend who is now a sports (!) anchorwoman (!!) on Fox (!!!) and a former acquaintance who is now a writer/blogger and author of some really popular poker book for girls.

i need to move around or something.
